Sweet, sweet boy. You are THREE months. Tres. The day you turned 3 months, Mac and Paisley turned 2 1/2 and Paw Paw turned 58. Big day for our family. ALL of you were born on the 19th of a month. Neato. (Dorko.) ;-P
The biggest thing you do now is SMILE. You've just now started to blow raspberries and bubbles like a champ. It's so cute, but really, everything you do is cute. Even when you're nursing, you'll stop and smile if we make eye contact. Be still, my heart.
I read this blog post the other day about when you know you've had your last. I sat there holding you with tears in my eyes. It talked about when you outgrow things that there's no need to pack them away for the next baby. You've outgrown your newborn, 0-3, and 3 month sizes. I'm not sure what you weigh, but I know you're a chunk. You have these rolls... on your arms, neck, and legs. They make every mama and grandma squeal. You've also mastered the lower bottom lip poke. It breaks my heart. Here's a picture of bubbles on your chin and the lip poke. You switched moods quickly.
I must document the first- and probably last- Super Bowl Sunday that my boys will stay with mama. The bath trumped the game. I didn't mind one bit. However, your dad claims the rest of your Super Bowl Sundays.
You're such an easy boy, you'll sleep anywhere. Thank you, Wells, thank you.
As for a routine or schedule, I am not able to be as strict as I was with Mac and Paisley. There is too much to juggle. You're so good to sleep and nurse anywhere. I DO miss that they were sleeping through the night by this point. I moved you across the room because you were going all night until 5 am. Since moving you, you've woken about 2-3 and again at 5-6 to eat. It won't last forever. I don't mind. During the day you're pretty spot on for waking and crying every 3 hours. That's really the only time you cry: to eat and sleep. I am so blessed with your easy going temperament.... Get ready for some mama TMI... Unless you have a booger. Every morning you have a stuffed nose, and it's always a huge booger. I've learned the trick to suctioning it, and you always breathe better after the 'storm'.
This month we've had 2 big snowfalls. The first went by without a picture, but the second didn't. I dressed you warm and got a picture for the memory books.
